It's the Partridge Family…
Some of our 'over 40's' at Eat Natural got quite excited when they thought David Cassidy was making a visit.
It turns out however, that this cute family of red-legged partridges were just taking a wander through the Makery garden…Bless!

Blanket coverage…
We recently were contacted by SuperJam, in Edinburgh, the inspirational company owned by 18 year old Fraser Doherty.
He was inspired to make great tasting jam by his wonderful Nan, who also introduced him and his brother to caring for the elderly by taking them jams and scones to brighten their day.
This lead to The SuperJam charity Tea Parties and a nationwide Knitathon event, which we were happy to support by sending a bunch of our bars.
Volunteer, expert knitters showed everyone (including school kids) how to knit a square. All the squares were then joined together to to make colourful blankets for an orphanage in Gwalior, Central India.
Thanks to the 'Knitathon', every child at the orphanage now has their very own blanket.
They still have more than a thousand squares to be sewn together - which will then be sent to other orphans in India.
A huge well done to everyone who took part.

It's a jumble out there…
We were happy to support the 28th Kingswood Scout Group, Bristol, who held a jumble sale to raise money for their group.
We were contacted by Lisa Cole (opposite, with her son), after she saw our website and asked us for some bars for their big day.
We sent them a whole bunch to munch away on while they worked hard to raise a total £1,332.
The taste of paradise…
As if a visit to the Maldives wasn't enough luxury for you…our bars are now available there too.

Now available in Cannes…
Congratulations to the 65 participants in this years Cycle 2 Cannes. They contacted us back in March for our support and we were happy to send over some bars to keep them going during the long haul to the South of France.
Those taking part cycled for 1500km, over six strenuous days, from Greenwich and managed to raise a whopping £120,000. for various charities.
Well done to everyone who took part.
Simple…it certainly wasn't!
A big 'AHOY' to Brian Thompson, who just completed the gruelling Vendee Globe Round the World Yacht Race.
Here's a letter he kindly sent us…
A massive thank you to Eat Natural for supplying me with a great selection of bars for this winter’s Vendee Globe Round the World Sailing Race. The Vendee Globe is a non stop singlehanded race, known as the Everest of Sailing, and it is the longest Endurance Event in sport. Out of 30 boats only 11 finished and I raced to 5th place in a time of 98 days on Bahrain Team Pindar.
Eating well and healthily was critical to my success and enjoying what I was eating was very important too. I really enjoyed all the flavours of the Eat Natural bars and they kept in good condition whatever the conditions. In fact for the first few days of the race in extremely rough conditions I lived off Eat Natural bars until the weather calmed down and they got me through some of the roughest few days the race had ever seen.
I would not consider doing another long race without taking Eat Natural bars!

They're…on the go!
Yep, finally they're on the shelf…our brand new bars for breakfast on the go.
These two, fabulous new recipes are now available in Waitrose, in the breakfast aisle alongside similar(?) cereal bars.
When you've no time to mess around in the morning, these delicious bars are ideal. One's a recipe of orange marmalade, almonds and toasted oats the other's got a mix of strawberry jam, oats and cashews, with a yoghurt coating. You'll find them in 3 bar packs…and if you're such a busy bee that you don't have time to go to the shops, you can also get them online at www.waitrose.com.
In-flight hospitality
If you're lucky enough to be going off on your travels soon, you might want to think about flying with Virgin Atlantic. That's because, when you sit down for a nice cuppa on some of their transatlantic flights…you'll actually get yourself a complimentary Eat Natural bar too.
These little bars with cranberries, apricots and a yoghurt coating are a new recipe, with no nuts, developed just for them.

Eat Natural...for breakfast
At last, NEW Eat Natural...for breakfast has hit the shelves...and already, you're already telling us how much you love it.
Full details of the lovely bags of tasty bits and bobs are on the main website (click the button under the blackboard and it'll take you there!).
There are four great recipes (two of which are gluten free) and you should be able to pick them up, pretty soon, at all the usual places.
